Many of Hillwood's properties are located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, where it's the top residential developer. Projects in the group's portfolio include AllianceTexas, a mixed-use airport development, and the American Airlines Center, a sports and entertainment arena. Hillwood Residential develops master-planned communities, mostly in the Dallas area. Its luxury properties arm has developed projects in Hawaii and Costa Rica, among other locations. Hillwood also invests in and sells land. Chairman Ross Perot, Jr., founded Hillwood Development in 1988.
